Ballyshanny Ringfort

Das Ringfort im Townland Ballyshanny (Baile Uí Sheanaigh) hat laut Beschreibung einen Durchmesser von knapp 40 Metern und eine Wallstärke von etwas mehr als 2 Metern. Aber leider liegt es auf Privatgrund und wir wollen nicht noch mehr der Aufmerksamkeit der Rinder auf uns ziehen.
The ringfort in the townland Ballyshanny (Baile Uí Sheanaigh) has according to descriptions a diameter of almost 40 metres and a wall thickness of more then 2 metres. But alas it lies on private property and we do not want to attract more of the attention of the cattle.
