Kirche zum Hl. Mullins / St. Mullins Church
Grab von Koenig Art / Grave of King Art
Behind the oratory lies a modest grave. Only the green sign makes us look for a second time: Here lies Art Óg mac Murchadha Caomhánach, "King of Leinster, faithful defender of his country, who was poisoned at New Ross in 1417". The Caomhánachs - anglicanized to Kavanagh - were the kings of Leinster from 1171 to 1603.
