Powerscourt Stadthaus / Powerscourt Townhouse

Das im Georgianischen Stil erbaute Haus war seit dem Ende des 18. Jahrhunderts das Stadthaus des 3. Vicomte von Powerscourt Richard Wingfield und seiner Frau Amelia. Seit 1981 wird das Haus als Einkaufszentrum benutzt, und es werden geführte Touren durch die ehemaligen Räume des Vicomte angeboten. Bei unserer Stadtführung sehen wir aber nur den Teil mit den Geschäften und den Innenhof mit den Restaurants.
The house built in Georgian style was since the end of the 18th century the town house of the 3rd Viscount of Powerscourt Richard Wingfield and his wife Amelia. Since 1981 the house is used as a shopping centre, and guided tours through the former rooms of the viscount are offered. During our guided tour through the town we only see the shops and the inner court with the restaurants.
