Kirche zum Hl. Stefan / St. Stephen's Church

Die protestantische Kirche zum Hl. Stefan wurde 1821 auf einem Stück Land gebaut, das von der Pembroke Familie geschenkt wurde. Heute steht sie mitten am Mount Street Crescent. St. Stephen ist eine Filialkirche von St. Peter in der Aungier Street und daher nicht besonders groß. Wegen ihres markanten Turms wird die Kirche auch "Pfefferstreuer" genannt.

The St. Stephen's Church of Ireland was built in 1821 on a piece of land that was donated by the Pembroke family. Today it stands in the middle of Mount Street Crescent. St. Stephen's is a chapel-of-ease for St. Peter in Aungier Street and therefore not very large. For its unique tower the church is also called "Pepper Cannister".
