Eine kleine Bucht im Dubliner Vorort Sandycove ist schon eine Kultstätte geworden: Das 40 Foot Hole. Es ist seit 250 Jahren ein beliebter Badeplatz. Ursprünglich nur für Männer erlaubt, dürfen sich hier seit den 1970ern auch Frauen in die Wellen stürzen.
A little bay in the Dublin suburb Sandycove has become a cult site: The 40 Foot Hole. Since 250 years it is a well-loved bathing place. Originally only allowed for men, since the 1970s women may also take a plunge here.
