Als uns der Reisebus zum Botanischen Garten bringt, überqueren wir den Royal Canal über die Cross Guns Bridge. Eine rote Ampel bringt den Bus zum Stehen und mich in eine gute Position um die Doppelschleuse 5 zu fotografieren. SIe hat einen Hub von 5,5 Metern.
When the tour bus takes us to the Botanical Garden, we cross the Royal Canal over the Cross Guns Bridge. A red traffic light brings the bus to a halt and me into a good position to make a photo of the double-lock 5. It has a lift of 5.5 metres.
