Im Norden Donegals schneiden mehrere Buchten tief in das Land hinein. Dies macht oft lange Umwege notwendig, nur um auf die andere Seite der Bucht zu gelangen. Einer dieser Umwege wurde durch den Bau der Harry Blaney Brücke über die Mulroy Bucht (Cuan na Maoil Ruaidh) von 2007 bis 2009 abgekürzt. Sie erspart den Anwohnern etwa 100 Kilometer Fahrt um die Bucht herum.
In the north of Donegals several bays cut deeply into the land. This makes it necessary to go a long way around just to get to the other side of the bay. One of these detours was cut short with the construction of the Harry Blaney Bridge across the Mulroy Bucht (Cuan na Maoil Ruaidh) from 2007 to 2009. It saves the residents a drive of about 100 kilometres around the bay.
