Sky Road

Die "Sky Road" (Himmelsstraße) führt um die gesamte Halbinsel herum, die sich westlich von Clifden weit in das Meer hinausstreckt. Von einem Parkplatz aus (Pointe Amharc Atlantach Fiáin Sky Bothar) bietet sich ein wunderbarer Blick auf die vorgelagerten Inseln (Talbot Island, Eeshal Island, Iniskturk und Cruagh rechts hinten am Horizont).

The "Sky Road" runs around the whole peninsula that stretches out into the sea in the west of Clifden. From a parking place (Pointe Amharc Atlantach Fiáin Sky Bothar) we have a wonderful view on the offshore islands (Talbot Island, Eeshal Island, Iniskturk and Cruagh on the horizon in the right background).
