In der Nähe von Sallins (Na Solláin) haben wir im Jahre 2003 unsere erste Kanal-Begegnung. Die Ruhe, welche die Landschaft hier ausstrahlt, fasziniert uns - und war mit einer der Gründe, dass wir 2006 die beiden großen Kanäle näher angeschaut haben.

Near Sallins (Na Solláin) we have our first canal encounter in 2003. The tranquillity this place emanates fascinates us - and was one of the reasons why we choose to have a closer look at the great canals in 2006.
