Der Donadea (Domhnach Dheá) Forest Park liegt nördlich der Stadt Clane (Claonadh) und hat eine Fläche von über 240 Hektar, der überwiegende Teil davon ist Wald. Im Zentrum des Parks liegen ein See und das Schloss, das vom Ende des 16. Jahrhunderts bis in die Mitte des 20. Jahrhunderts von der Familie Aylmer bewohnt wurde.
Von unserem ersten Besuch 1994 bis zum nächsten Besuch 2015 wurden viel Ziel und Mühe aufgebracht, um den Park als Erholungsgebiet wiederzubeleben.
The Donadea (Domhnach Dheá) Forest Park lies north of the town Clane (Claonadh) and covers an area of more than 240 hectares, most of it is a forest. In the centre of the park there is a lake and a castle that was the home of the family Aylmer from the late 16th century to the middle of the 20th century.
From our first visit in 1994 to the next one in 2015 a lot of time and work has been spent to revive the park as a recreational area.
