Das Anwesen von Newbury liegt in der Nähe der Ortschaft Carbury (Cairbre). Es ist in Privatbesitz und öffentlich nicht zugänglich. Der Eintrag auf Wikipedia behauptet aber, dass die Trinity Quelle auf dem Grundstück der Ursprung des Flusses Boyne ist.
Die Informationen auf Boyne Valley Tours widersprechen dem jedoch und behaupten, dass die Boyne durch Newbury nur durchfließt. Dann wäre die Boye der kleine Bach, den wir auf der anderen Seite der R402 finden. Dieser fließt nach unserer Landkarte noch einige Kilometer querfeldein, was uns dann doch zu mühsam ist, ihm zu folgen.
Newbury Demesne lies close to the village of Carbury (Cairbre). It is privatley owned and not open to the public. The entry on Wikipedia claims however, that Trinity Well on the premises is the source of the river Boyne.
The information of Boyne Valley Tours contradict Wikipedia and allege that the Boyne just runs through Newbury. Then the Boyne would be the small creek that we find on the opposite side of the R402. According to our maps it continues to flow cross-country for some more kilometres, which is too laborious for us to follow it further.
