Laune Bruecke / Laune Bridge

Bis ins späte 19. Jahrhundert führte eine schmale Holzbrücke über den Fluss Laune, die bei Hochwasser nicht immer benutzbar war. 1885 wurde dann die steinerne Brücke gebaut und eröffnet, die heute nicht nur dem Lokalverkehr, sondern den gesamten Touristenverkehr über den Ring of Kerry bewältigen muss.
Until the late 19th century the river Laune was crossed by a narrow wooden bridge that was not always useable during high tide. In 1885 the stone bridge was built and opened, which today does not only have to cope with the local traffic, but also with the complete tourist traffic along the Ring of Kerry.
