Shronebirrane Steinkreis / Shronebirrane Stone Circle

Ein Wegweiser neben der Straße weist uns in die Richtung des Shronebirrane (Srón Bearraín) Steinkreises. Auf einer einspurigen Straße (mit Überholverbot!) fahren wir einige Kilometer fast bis zum Ende eines Tales. Neben dem letzten Haus steht der Steinkreis, bzw. was von ihm übrig geblieben ist. Aber auch die Lage ist faszinierend: Von den Bergen ringsherum rinnen viele kleine Bäche die Hänge herunter.
A sign beside the road points us into the direction of the Shronebirrane (Srón Bearraín) Stone Circle. On a one-track road (where over-taking is prohibited) we drive a few kilometres almost to the end of a valley. Beside the last house there is the stone circle, respectively what is left of it. But also the surrounding is fascinating: From all mountains around us little creeks are running down the slopes.
