Moll's Gap
On the pass between Kenmare and Killarney there once lived Moll Kissane, who regaled tired travellers with illegal homemade spirit (poitín). After her the pass was named Moll's Gap. Whether they still sell spirits in the shop that now is on Moll's Gap, we did not find out, because we do not want to blur our view of the fantastic landscape. Especially the look towards the north over Macgillycuddy's Reeks is of interest, as we can clearly see the notch of the Gap of Dunloe (in the background, left of the middle).
