Killovarnogue Gebetshaus / Killovarnogue Oratory

Am alten Killovarnogue Friedhof finden wir die Überreste eines Gebetshauses, das fast vollständig überwachsen ist. Was wir nicht (oder kaum) finden, sind Informationen darüber. Das in Trockenbauweise errichtete Gebäude scheint aber schon 1840 in schlechtem Zustand gewesen zu sein. Der Übersichtsplan am Eingang des Friedhofs weist uns noch auf acht mit Kreuzen gravierte Grabsteine hin.
On the old cemetery of Killovarnogue we find the remains of an oratory that is almost completely overgrown. What we do not (or only sparsely) find are information about it. The building made in dry construction seems to have been in a bad state already in 1840. The layout plan at the entrance of the cemetery points to eight cross engraved stones.
