Whitestrand Strand / Whitestrand Beach

Der etwa 500 Meter lange Whitestrand am Ostrand des Lough Key wird durch die vorgelagerten Inseln geschützt. Er ist ein beliebter Badestrand und trägt die Blaue Flagge. An diesem Mittwoch Vormittag ist aber wenig los und wir haben den Strand fast für uns alleine.
Whitestrand at the eastern rim of Lough Key has a length of almost 500 metres and is protected by the offshore islands. It is a popular bathing beach and bears the Blue Flag. On this Wednesday morning however there is not much going on and we have the beach almost to ourselves.
