Blackrock (Na Creagacha Dubha) ist ein beliebter Badeort südlich von Dundalk. Bei unserem Besuch lockt das Wetter zwar keine Badegäste an, aber es ist schön genug, um am flachen Sandstrand und an der Strandpromenade auf und ab zu gehen. Alle paar Meter kommen wir an einer modernen Plastik vorbei. Entlang der Küstenstraße stehen viele bunte Häuser, die Erfrischungen in Lokalen und Geschäften anbieten.

Blackrock (Na Creagacha Dubha) is a popular seaside resort south of Dundalk. During our visit, the weather is not drawing any bathers into the water, but it is good enough to walk up and down the flat sandy beach and the promenade. Every few metres we pass one of the modern sculptures. Along the coast road there are many colourful houses offering refreshments in premises and shops.
