Das ehemalige Gerichtsgebäude wurde 1822 errichtet. Als 1898 in jeder Grafschaft ein Grafschaftsrat etabliert wurde, wurden dessen Büros im Gebäude eingerichtet. In den 1990ern zogen sowohl das Gericht, als auch der Rat auf andere Standorte um und das Gebäude verfiel. 2005 wurde es renoviert und beherbergt heute das Kunstzentrum The Dock mit einem Theater, Galerien und dem Leitrim Design House.

The former courthouse was built in 1822. When a County Council was established in each county in 1898 its offices were set up in the building. In the 1990ies the court as well as the council moved to other locations and the building decayed. In 2005 it was renovated and now houses the art centre The Dock with a theatre, galleries and the Leitrim Design House.
