Der Höhenzug von Capard (Droim na Ceapaí Airde) ist ein Berg im Ostteil der Slieve Bloom Mountains. Das Auto bringt uns bis zum Parkplatz in der Nähe des Aussichtspunktes. Mit der Aussicht alleine geben wir uns aber nicht zufrieden und unsere Wanderschuhe wollen auch wieder einmal getragen werden (oder tragen sie uns...?). Wir folgen den kleinen gelben Männchen, weichen dann von der vorgeschlagenen Route ab und gehen auf einem Forstweg weiter den Berg hinauf. Der Rückweg führt uns auf einem engen Holzsteg durch die Heidelandschaft bis zum Aussichtspunkt.
The Ridge of Capard (Droim na Ceapaí Airde) is a mountain in the east part of the Slieve Bloom Mountains. The car brings us to the parking place close to the viewing platform. But we are not contented with just the view and our hiking shoes long to be worn again. We follow the little yellow man, then stray away from the suggested route and walk further uphill on a forest road. The way back leads us over a small board walk through the moorlands to the viewing point.
