Anhoehe von Tara / Hill of Tara

Hochkreuz / High Cross

Auf der Anhöhe steht auch ein Hochkreuz, allerdings wird es in der Broschüre, die wir beim Besucherzentrum erwerben, nicht erwähnt. Auch im Internet finden wir keine Informationen dazu. Es sei der Vollständigkeithalber trotzdem aufgeführt.

Es gibt noch andere Strukturen auf Tara oder in der Nähe, wie Rath Grainne, benannt nach einer keltischen Prinzessin. Aber die heben wir uns bei dem Wetter für den nächsten Besuch auf.

On the hill there stands also a high cross, however it is not described in the booklet that we acquire at the visitor's centre. And we do not find any information about it in the Internet, either. It is still listed for completeness' sake.

There are even more structures on Tara or near it, like Rath Grainne, named after a Celtic princess. But considering the weather we defer them to our next visit.
