Kirche zum Hl. Patrick / St. Patrick's Church

Am Eingang zur Anhöhe steht die Kirche des Hl. Patrick, die Anfang des 19. Jahrhunderts über einer älteren Kirche von ca. 1200 errichtet wurde. Heute ist hier das Besucherzentrum eingerichtet, ein Film erzählt die Geschichte Taras.
Weniger schön ist, dass beim Abgrenzen des Friedhofs um die Kirche, die Mauer einfach durch das Bollwerk der Synoden gezogen wurde.
At the entrance to the hill there is St. Patrick's Church, which was built at the beginning of the 19th century over an older church dating from around 1200. Today the visitor's centre is located in the church, a movie tells the story of Tara.
On the downside, when the cemetery was enclosed, the wall was built straight through the Rath of the Synods.
