Mornington Strand

Am Strand stehen auch zwei Leuchttürme, genannt Drogheda East Lighthouse und Drogheda West Lighthouse, die um 1880 gebaut wurden. Beide Türmen könnten etwas Renovierung vertragen. Ein Stück weiter die Boyne aufwärts steht noch Drogheda Nord, den wir für diesen Besuch auslassen.
On the strand there are also two light towers, called Drogheda East Lighthouse and Drogheda West Lighthouse, that were built around 1880. Both towers could use some renovation. At little farther up the Boyne there is also Droghdea North Lighthouse, which we skip for this visit.
