Downpatrick Head ist einer der nördlichsten Punkte in Mayo. Auf drei Seiten vom tosenden Meer eingeschlossen haben wir hier einen wunderbaren Blick bis weit in den Süden auf den Berg Nephin und in den Osten über die Bunatrahir Bucht. Stumm hält der Hl. Patrick, von duftenden Kamillenblüten umgeben, Wache über seine Insel.
Downpatrick Head is one of the most northern places in Mayo. Enclosed on three sides by the roaring sea, we have a wonderful view far into the south to the Nephin Mountain and to the east over the Bunatrahir Bay. Silently St. Patrick, surrounded by sweet-smelling camomile blossoms, keeps vigil over his isle.
