Bei der Fahrt von und zum Lake Carrowmore führt uns die Straße durch das Tal der Owenmore. Und hier finden wir hinter jeder Kurve das idyllisierte Irland der Reiseprospekte: Grüne sanfte Hügel, weiß niedrige Häuser und überall Schafe vor wolkenverhangenen Bergen.
On the drive to and from Lake Carrowmore the road leads us through the valley of the Owenmore. And here we find behind every bend the idyllized Ireland of the traveller's catalogues: Green smooth hills, white narrow cottages and sheep everywhere in front of cloud-covered mountains.
