Moher Lake

Die direkte Verbindung zwischen Westport und Leenaun führt zwischen den Sheeffry Hills und Party Berge durch, die Hälfte der Strecke verläuft neben dem Fluss Erriff. Mehrere kleinere Seen sind hier in der Landschaft verstreut. Wie hier der Moher Lake nahe der Ortschaft Liscarney, mit der Silhouette der Sheeffry Hills im Hintergrund. Wie praktisch alle Seen in Mayo bietet er Anglern die Möglichkeit ihrem Hobby nachzugehen.

Auf der bewaldeten Insel im linken Bild ist auf der Landkarte ein Crannóg eingezeichnet.

The direct connection between Westport and Leenaun leads us between the Sheeffry Hills and the Party Mountains, half of the way is accompanied by the Erriff River. Several smaller lakes are spread through the landscape. Like here Moher Lake near the town of Liscarney, with the silhouette of the Sheeffry Hills in the background. Like basically all lakes in Mayo it offers anglers a possibility to practice their hobby.
