Turmhaus / Tower House

Am Rande des Friedhofs stehen die Überreste eines Gebäudes, das im 15. oder 16. Jahrhundert gebaut wurde und wahrscheinlich ein Turmhaus war. In seiner Nähe wurde 1971 eine Sheela-na-Gig gefunden, die im Athlone Castle Museum aufbewahrt wird.
At the edge of the cemetery there are the remains of a building that was constructed in the 15th or 16th century and most likely was a tower house. Close to it a Sheela-na-Gig was found in 1971 that is now kept in the Athlone Castle Museum.
