Alte Morrows Muehle / Old Morrow's Mill

Laut dem zuvor erwähnten Paddy Heaney soll schon Anfang des 17. Jahrhunderts an dieser Stelle eine Mühle gestanden haben. 1831 wurde das noch heute stehende Gebäude von Sina Manifold als Kornmühle erbaut. Die Steine dafür wurden von der alten Abtei in Leitir Lughna genommen. 1889 wurde die Mühle verkauft und in eine Wollmühle umgewandelt, die aber bereits 1903 stillgelegt wurde. Danach verfiel das Gebäude.
According to the aforementioned Paddy Heaney there was already a mill on this place at the beginning of the 17th century. In 1831 Sina Manifold built the still existing building as a corn mill. The stones were taken from the old abbey at Leitir Lughna. In 1898 the mill was sold and converted to a woollen mill that was already closed down in 1903. Afterwards, the building fell into ruins.
