Esker Menhir / Esker Standing Stone

Im Townland Esker stehen zwei Menhire, die lokal als "Königssteine" bekannt sind. Einer steht nahe bei der Straße (2,3 Meter hoch) und ist gut sichtbar. Der andere steht auf dem nächsten Feld und ist von den Bäumen am Feldrain verdeckt.
There are two standing stones in the Townland Esker that locally are known as "King's Stones". One of them (2.3 metres high) stands close to the road is is clearly visible. The other one stands on the next field and is hidden by the trees along the boundary ridge.
