Das Gebäude wurde 1863 als Presbyterianische Kirche gebaut. Besonders auffällig und ungewöhnlich für ein christliches Gotteshaus ist das Fenster mit einem Davidstern. In den frühen 1990ern wurde das Gebäude zum Grafschaftsmuseum von Roscommon umgestaltet, in dem Artefakte aus vielen Jahrhunderten gesammelt sind: Von Grabsteinen aus dem 9. Jahrhundert, über die Fußballschuhe von Gerry Dolan aus den 1940ern, eine Handvermittlungsstelle für Telefone bis zu einem Apple II Computer.

Die Statue eines Mutterschafs mit Lamm von Mark Feely erinnert an die lange Tradition der Schafzucht in der Grafschaft Roscommon.

The building was built in 1863 as a Presbyterian church. Especially peculiar and unusual for a Christian Lord's house is the window with a Star of David. In the early 1990ies the building was reshaped as the county museum of Roscommon, in which artefacts from many centuries are collected. From gravestones from the 9^th century, to the soccer shoes of Gerry Dolan from the 1940ies, a manual telephone exchange to an Apple II computer.

The statue of a ewe with lamb by Mark Feely recollects the long tradition of sheep farming in the County Roscommon.
