1832 wurde in Roscommon ein neues Gerichtsgebäude errichtet und das Gericht zog von der Harrison Hall am Marktplatz hierher. Am 14. Juni 1882 zerstörte ein Feuer das Gebäude und griff auch auf die benachbarten Häuser über. Das Gerichtsgebäude wurde renoviert und konnte 1883 wieder seinen Betrieb aufnehmen. Als 1898 in ganz Irland lokale Regierungen eingerichtet wurden, war auch der Roscommon Grafschaftsrat im Gebäude ansässig, bis er 2015 in ein neu errichtetes Gebäude umzog. Der Zustand des Gerichtsgebäudes hatte sich bis 2022 so verschlechtert, dass das Gericht in ein Ausweichquartier umzog. Jedoch ist die Finanzierung des Renovierung bis 2030 nicht gesichert.

In 1832 a new courthouse was built in Roscommon and the court moved from the Harrison Hall at the Market Square to it. On June 14^th, 1882 a fire destroyed the building and also spread to the neighbouring houses. The courthouse was renovated and was back in operation in 1883. When local governments were created all over Ireland in 1898, the Roscommon County Council was also installed in the building, until it moved to a newly constructed property in 2015. The state of the courthouse had worsened so much until 2022 that the court moved to a temporary quarters. Alas the funding of the renovation is not secured until 2030.
