Rathbeg (An Ráth Beag, das kleine Fort) (Nummer 6 auf der Rathcroghan Route) hat einen Durchmesser von 36 Metern. Anders als der Namensteil "Rath" nahelegt, war es aber kein Ort für die Lebenden, sondern für die Toten. Rathbeg wird auf die Bronze- oder Eisenzeit datiert und ist eine von 37 Begräbnisstätten in Rathcroghan. Schon im Manuskript Lebor na hUidre (Das Buch der Falben Kuh) aus dem 12. Jahrhundert wird Rathcroghan als "einer von drei heidnischen Friedhöfen von Irland" beschrieben.

Rathbeg (An Ráth Beag, the small fort) (number 6 of the Rathcroghan Route) has a diameter of 36 metres. Contrary to what the name part "rath" implies this was no place for the living, but for the dead. Rathbeg is dated to the Bronze or Iron Age and is one of 37 burial places in Rathcroghan. As early as the 12^th century the manuscript Lebor na hUidre (The Book of the Dun Cow) describes Rathcroghan as "one of the three heathen cemeteries of Ireland".
