Mit fast 10000 Hektar an Berg-, Moor-, Waldland und Seen ist der Glenveagh National Park der größte Donegals (Glenveagh = Tal der Birken). With an area of almost 10000 hectares of mountains, bogland, forest and lakes the Glenveagh National Park is Donegal's largest park (Glenveagh = valley of the birches). Its biggest charm comes from the fact that it is one of the last places in Ireland still untouched by human hands.
