Achill Island

Keem Strand ist der westlichste Punkt der durch die Straße erreichbar ist. Dichter Nebel hält uns davon ab, bis zum äußersten Ende, dem Achill Head, zu wandern. In der Nähe des Strandes steht eine kleine Hütte, auf der "Lifesaving equipment" steht. Als wir durch die Fenster spähen sehen wir Zapfhähne für Guinness und Smithwicks...

Keem Strand is the most western point reachable by roads. Dense fog prevents us from walking to the outermost end, Achill Head. Near the beach there is a small shed, marked with "Lifesaving equipment". When we peer through the windows, we see taps for Guinness and Smithwicks...
