Die Stadt Belturbet (im Bild die Brücke über
die Erne) ist eine der Stationen des Shannon-Erne-Wasserweges. Die vielen
Seen ringsum machen es zu einem beliebten Ziel für Angler.
Wir rasten auf einem kleinen Picknickplatz am Ufer neben der Brücke. Auf
eine Hinweistafel erfahren wir, dass es noch mehr
zu sehen gibt.
The town of Belturbet (in the picture the bridge across the
Erne) is one of the stations along the Shannon-Erne-Waterway. The many
lakes all-around make it a favourite place for anglers.
We rest at a picnic area along the banks beside the bridge. From an
information board we learn that there is even more
to see.
