Robert Rochfort, Lord Belfield und später der
erste Earl von Belvedere, ließ Belvedere House 1740 als Jagdhaus
errichten. Auch alle folgenden Eigentümer führten die Tradition des
Hauses als Ort der Unterhaltung weiter. Heute ist das Anwesen öffentlich
zugänglich, das Visitors Centre (in den ehemaligen Stallungen) bietet

Robert Rochfort, Lord Belfield and later the first Earl of
Belvedere, had Belvedere House built in 1740 as hunting lodge. Also all
further owners continued the tradition of the house as place for
entertainment. Today the estate is open to the public, the Visitors Centre
(located in the former stables) offers refreshments, a little tram leads
