Dublin City: Bank of Ireland

Das Old Parliament House wurde von Sir E. L. Pearce Anfang des 18. Jahrhunderts als erstes der großen klassizistischen Gebäude in Dublin erbaut. Hier befand sich bis zum in Kraft treten des "Act of Union" der Sitz des irischen Parlaments. Seit 1804 ist in dem Gebäude die Bank of Ireland untergebracht.

The Old Parliament House was built by Sir E. L. Pearce at the beginning of the 18^th century as the first of the great classical buildings of Dublin. Here was the seat of the Irish Parliament until the "Act of Union" became law. Since 1804 the Bank of Ireland is located in the building.
