Kilmokea Gardens

Der größte Teil von Kilmokea ist der "Woodland Garden", der erst seit 1968 kultiviert wird. Hier steht eindeutig die Landschaftsarchitektur in Vordergrund. Vom Forellenteich ausgehend, führen verschlungene Wege an exotischen Pflanzen vorbei und ab und zu sind kleine Bauwerke, wie die im Bild gezeigte Brücke, zu finden.

The largest part of Kilmokea is the "Woodland Garden", which has been cultivated only since 1968. Here, clearly the landscaping is placed into the foreground. Starting at the trout lake, winding paths lead past exotic plants and now and then small buildings, like the bridge in the picture, can be found.
