Die Hauptattraktion von Carrick-on-Suir (Carraig na Siúire) ist Ormonde Castle, eines der schönsten Herrenhäuser im Elisabethanischen Stil in ganz Irland. Es wurde von "Black Tom" Butler, dem 10. Earl von Ormonde, im 16. Jahrhundert erbaut. Seit der Mitte des 20. Jahrhunderts ist es im Besitz des Irischen Staates und der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich. Sehenswert sind die lange Galerie und die Stuckarbeiten.
The main attraction of Carrick-on-Suir (Carraig na Siúire) is Ormonde Castle, one of the most beautiful Tudor houses in Ireland. It was built by "Black Tom" Butler, the 10th Earl von Ormonde, during the 16th century. Since the middle of the 20th century is owned by the Irish state and open to the public. The Long Gallery and the plasterwork are worth seeing.
