Fluss Suir / River Suir

Der Fluss Suir (Abhainn na Siúire) entspringt in den Devil's Bit Mountain und fließt nach 185 Kilometern im Hafen von Waterford in den Atlantischen Ozean.

Wegen ihrer physikalischen Nähe und weil sie sich vereinen, werden die Flüsse Suir, Barrow und Nore auch "die drei Schwestern" (An Triúr Deirfiúr) genannt.

The River Suir (Abhainn na Siúire) rises in the Devil's Bit Mountain and flows after 185 kilometres at Waterford Harbour into the Atlantic Ocean.

Due to their closeness and because they join each other, the rivers Suir, Barrow and Nore are also called "the Three Sisters" (An Triúr Deirfiúr).
