Neben der Schleuse 22 überquert die Heatherstown Brücke (beide gebaut um 1805) den Royal Canal. Von hier aus ist der Royal Canal Way Richtung Osten auch für Autos freigegeben und wir nutzen die Gelegenheit noch weitere Schleusen anzusehen.

Beside Lock 22 the Heatherstown Bridge (both built around 1805) crosses the Royal Canal. From here towards the east the Royal Canal Way is also allowed for cars and we use the opportunity to see more locks.
