Kirche zum Hl. Patrick / St. Patrick's Church

Einige Jahre nach der Emanzipation der Katholiken im Jahre 1829 ließ der damalige Pfarrer John Grant eine neue Pfarrkirche erbauen, die dem Hl. Patrick geweiht ist. Das von der Familie Fitzwilliam zur Verfügung gestellte Grundstück liegt auf einer Anhöhe, so dass die Kirche schon von weither sichtbar ist.

A few years after the emancipation of the Catholics in 1829, the then parish priest John Grant had built a new parish church that is sanctified to St. Patrick. The property that was provided by the family Fitzwilliam lies on a hill, so that the church can already be seen from afar.
