Blackwater

Blackwater (An Abhainn Dubh - der schwarze Fluss) ist eine kleine Ortschaft an der Kreuzung von R742 und R744. Sie liegt in der Nähe des Strandes und auch nicht zu weit von den großen Städten Wexford und Enniscorthy entfernt. Mehrere Wanderwege führen vom kleinen Park in der Ortsmitte aus durch die Umgebung. Und es gibt alles, was wir für unseren Aufenthalt brauchen: Ein Hotel, Pubs, Geschäfte, eine Tankstelle und eine Kirche.
Blackwater (An Abhainn Dubh - the black river) is a small village where the R742 and R744 cross. It is situated close to the strand and not too far from the big towns Wexford and Enniscorthy. Several hiking routes through the surrounding area start at the small park in the middle of the village. And there is everything we need for our stay: A hotel, pubs, shops, a petrol station and a church.
