Curracloe Strand, White Gap

Östlich der Ortschaft Curracloe (Currach Cló - Marschland der Vertiefung) erstreckt sich ein Blau Flaggen-Strand mit feinem weißem Sand über viele Kilometer entlang der Küste von Wexford. Bei White Gap ist einer der Zugänge zu diesem Strand, der einer der beliebtesten - wenn nicht überhaupt der beliebteste - in Irland ist. Hier wurden auch Szenen für die Filme "Der Soldat James Ryan" und "Brooklyn" gedreht.

East of the village Curracloe (Currach Cló - marsh of the impression) a Blue Flag-beach with fine white sand stretches for many kilometres along the coast of Wexford. At White Gap is one of the access points to this beach that is one of the most favoured - if not the most favoured - beach in Ireland. Scenes for the movies "Saving Private Ryan " and "Brooklyn" were filmed on this location.
