Castletown Menhir / Castletown Standing Stone

Viele der Mehire, die wir auf unserer Reise suchen, sind gut versteckt und nicht auffindbar. Der bei der Ortschaft Castletown (zwischen Lady's Island und Carnsore Point) steht in Gegesatz dazu mitten auf einem freien Platz neben einem Fußballfeld. Während andere Steinen dieser Art nur als Freud'sches Symbol gelten, ist dieser hier schon sehr eindeutig zweideutig geformt.
Many of the standing stones that we seek during our travels are well hidden and not to be found. This one near the village of Castletown (between Lady's Island and Carnsore Point) stands in the middle of a free place beside a football pitch. While other stones of its kind are only seen as Freudian symbol, this one here is really suggestivley shaped.
