In Galway werden mehrere Kanäle vom Corrib abgezweigt - vermutlich zur Nutzung der Wasserkraft, dann an einem Kanal besuchen wir die Überreste einer alten Mühle, die zu einem Restaurant umgebaut wurde. Entlang der Kanäle sind Wege, die sich zu Fuß wunderbar erkunden lassen.
In Galway several canals are branched off the Corrib - most likely to use the water power, because on one canal we visit the remains of a mill that has been reworked to a restaurant. Walking ways lead along the canals that wonderfully can be explored by foot.
