Yeats College

Erasmus Smith gründet 1699 das erste Gymnasium in Galway. Anfang des 19. Jahrhundert wurde ein eigenes Schulgebäude errichtet und nach Smith benannt. 1992 wurde das alte Gebäude um einen neuen Teil erweitert und beherbergt das private Yeats College.

In 1699 Erasmus Smith founded the first grammar school in Galway. At the beginning of the 19th century a new school building was erected and named after Smith. In 1992 the old building was extened by a new wing and houses the private Yeats College.
