Der Park von Glebe House war ein Nutzgarten, bevor Derek Hill ihn in einen Waldlandgarten umgestaltete. Bei der Auswahl der Pflanzen musste er auf die kalten klimatischen Bedingungen der Gegend Rücksicht nehmen und ließ sich von der rauen Landschaft Donegals inspirieren. Mit Statuen und anderen Gegenständen, die er aus der Umgebung zusammentrug, setzte Hill Akzente im Park. The park of Glebe House was a working garden, before Derek Hill redesigned it as a woodland garden. When selecting the plants, he had to consider the cold climatic conditions of the area and was inspired by the rough landscape of Donegal. With statues and other objects that he gathered from the surroundings, Hill set highlights in the park. His exact thoughts are published on the homepage of Glebe House (see link).
