Lough Key Forest Park
Red Cedar Grove
While walking round the park we pass many old and tall trees. They sometimes have strange forms. But one group of trees intrigues us especially. A few trees are growing seemingly from a common root. They are surrounded by a circle of other trees. From the outside this looks inconspicuous, but as soon as we slip through one of the entrances, we feel as if we have stepped into an ancient tree sanctum of druids.
