Um auf die Insel zu kommen, nehmen wir eines der vielen Fährboote, die von Glengarriff (Gleann Garbh - raues Tal) auslaufen. Doch bevor wir mit unserem Inselrundgang beginnen können, zeigt uns der Skipper noch eine weitere Attraktion: Die Seehunde der Bantry Bay.
To get to the island, we take one of the many ferryboats departing from Glengarriff (Gleann Garbh - rough glen). But before we can start our walk across the island the skipper shows us another attraction: The seals of Bantry Bay.
