Eine Grabnische im Altarraum wird von Bogen im Flamboyant-Stil der späten Gotik geziert. Am unteren Ende sind sieben Heilige und Jesus (der vierte von links) dargestellt, die alle laut Reiseführer "herzlich lachen". Na ja, finde ich nicht, bestenfalls ein Grinsen. Auf einem anderen Grab ist eine Pietà (die Hl. Maria mit dem sterbenden Christus) zu sehen. Ihr Gesichtsausdruck ist wie der der anderen auch - aber ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass sie der Künstler lachend dargestellt hat.
A tomb in the chancel is decorated with arches in the Flamboyant style of the late Gothic. On the lower end seven saints and Jesus (the fourth from the left) are depicted, who are all according to the travel guide "cordially laughing". Well, I do not think so, maybe it is a grin. On another tomb a pietà (St. Mary with the dying Christ) can be seen. Her facial expression is like that of the others - but I cannot imagine that the artist depicted her as laughing.
